Morehead-Cain Global Fellows Program 2025-2026

Dear Students,

In accordance with the cooperation between Boğaziçi University and the Morehead-Cain Foundation, Boğaziçi University students are invited to apply for the Global Fellows Program for the Academic Year 2025-2026.

The Morehead-Cain Global Fellowship at UNC-Chapel Hill offers exceptional undergraduate student leaders from across the world a fully-funded, transformational year (beginning in August of 2026) at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Fellows become part of a dynamic community of Morehead-Cain scholars, gaining access to leadership development, academic enrichment, and global engagement opportunities.

2025-2026 Morehead-Cain Global Fellows Nomination Information

To further introduce the program and address your inquiries, representatives from the Morehead-Cain Foundation will hold an online information session exclusively for Boğaziçi University students.

Please note that the entire application process is administered solely by the Morehead-Cain Foundation. Applications must be submitted through the program website in accordance with the procedures and requirements defined by the foundation.

This scholarship is not an exchange program supervised by the Office of International Relations. Students who are admitted to the program are personally responsible for:

  • Communicating with the Boğaziçi University faculty members who will nominate them;
  • Obtaining all necessary approvals from their departments and faculties for a one-year leave of absence; and
  • Managing the credit transfer process upon their return, if necessary.
  • After the completion of the admission process, the admitted students will receive detailed information regarding the one-year leave of absence and the credit transfer procedures.
