Student Dormitories

The student dormitory at our Kilyos Campus is a residential facility of Boğaziçi University located on the scenic Sarıtepe (Kilyos) Campus — a quiet environment near the Black Sea coastline and away from the busy city center. The dormitory is designed in an apartment-style format, where each unit includes its own private bathroom, kitchen, and living area, offering more privacy and comfort compared to traditional shared dorm spaces.

Residents have access to dedicated study rooms that support both individual and group study in a peaceful environment. The university has also been conducting seismic strengthening and renovation works on the Kilyos dormitory buildings as part of a safety improvement program.

All Erasmus and exchange students are eligible to apply for accommodation at the Kilyos Dormitory. Although Kilyos is located at a relatively longer distance from the central South and North Campuses where most courses take place, the campus is well-connected through public transportation and regular shuttle services provided between campuses, making daily access to classes and university facilities fairly convenient.

For students who appreciate a quieter atmosphere, closeness to nature, and the comfort of apartment-style living, the Kilyos Dormitory offers a supportive and balanced living environment that combines independence with the benefits of campus life.

Erasmus and Exchange students will be informed by the incoming student advisors at our office via e-mail and they will be able to submit their application for the dormitories.
