Yale College Courses for Credit - In-Person & Online

Dates:

• Session A: Monday, May 26 – Friday, June 27, 2025
• Session B: Monday, June 30 – Friday, August 1, 2025

Students take Yale College Courses for Credit to:

• earn credit toward their major and fulfill requirements for their degree
• explore a new field or topic
• focus intensely on one subject
• study with Yale faculty
• prepare for the challenges of highly selective colleges

Students participating in Yale College Courses in either Session A or B should have an advanced level of English. If a student is not a native English-speaker and has not had at least two years of secondary education or university instruction where English is the medium of instruction, we require English proficiency testing. Search for Courses & Programs: Use the searchable database found on the “Course List” page. Our database allows you and your students to search for courses by keyword, subject, dates, mode (in-person or online), and meeting time.

The Residential Program

The section on our website titled “Admitted Students” will have a wealth of information for students coming to campus. Students must live in on-campus housing to be able to receive the tuition discount for partner universities. 

Immunization Requirements

Yale University requires all students who enroll at Yale to provide proof of immunization. Students will not be permitted to enroll in classes until all the forms are submitted and the immunization requirements are met. After admission to Yale Summer Session, students will receive an email with details about how to upload their documents. Some immunization requirements may take a month or more to complete. This webpage details all the immunization requirements and the deadlines to submit materials and be complaint by session.
