Dear Faculty Members,
“Staff Mobility for Teaching” is a type of mobility under the Erasmus+ program, funded by the European Commission and it provides funds for short-term teaching visits by faculty members to partner institutions. At Boğaziçi University, this program is coordinated by the Office of International Relations. Eligibility You must be a full-time faculty member at Boğaziçi University to participate in this program. Please note that the minimum number of teaching hours required is 8 hours. The minimum number of days to stay is two, and the maximum is five. It is expected that your teaching hours are evenly balanced during the time of your stay. The program should be detailed on a daily basis in the Staff Mobility Agreement for Teaching. Host Institutions In order to be able to take part in this mobility, there should be an agreement between the host institution and Boğaziçi University.
How to apply Application period: January 15- February 15, 2024
As of March 1, 2022, the Turkish National Agency announced that the application and evaluation of Erasmus+ personnel mobility will be carried out through the portal. You will be able to log in to the portal with your e-government login information. https://turnaportal.ua.gov.tr/giris Since the application process will only be carried out through the National Agency’s online portal, all application documents must be uploaded to the relevant section of the application portal. Application documents will not be physically delivered to the Office. The listed application documents must be uploaded to the required field. The applications of the candidates who upload the application documents incompletely will not be accepted.
Applications will be accepted between January 15- February 15, 2024. The application portal https://turnaportal.ua.gov.tr/giris) will be opened on January 15th at 10:00 and will be closed on February 15th, 2024 at 16:00. After the specified date and time, no application or document entry will be made into the system.
Documents required: • An invitation letter from the host institution • Filled Work Plan form • Your CV Important Note: A commitment/waiver document will be requested from project beneficiaries along with pre-departure documents upon the evaluation result. Please note that all mobility actions must be completed by July 20, 2024. The earliest date you can schedule the mobility is March 15.
