Erasmus+ Traineeship (KA131) Program Application Results 2023

Dear Students,

Thank you for applying to the call for participation in the ERASMUS+ KA131 Student (Internship) Mobility (which is granted by the European Commission) for the projects;

The applications were evaluated by the Exchange Selection and Placement Committee based on the quotas and regulations approved by the University Executive Council and The Turkish National Agency.  The Committee received 47 applications. After a thorough evaluation, all applications were accepted by the Committee.

Comenius, undergraduate and graduate applications were treated separately. The applications were ranked according to the Erasmus Traineeship Points (ETP) calculated as follows:

ETP = (AP+LP)

where academic points AP = 12.5*GPA, language points LP = 50, 48 or 46 depending on the BÜEPT Proficiency grade. All other additions and subtractions were made according to the regulations set by the European Commission and as stated on the application announcement.

Applicants have been placed to the above mentioned projects and they can see their project number on the list below. Some applicants on the waiting list will be assigned a project number if they get to have a grant due to a cancellation.

Erasmus grant column shows if the applicant has a grant or not. Applicants who have been listed under each group as “WAITING” are without a grant and will have to confirm their participation by sending the RELATED DOCUMENT signed and scanned to erasmus-internship@boun.edu.tr until 25^th of May 2023, 17.00. If the document is not submitted to our office until the stated date, it will be assumed that they will not participate in the Erasmus+ internship program for next academic year and their departments will be informed.

If a participant with a grant cancels his/her mobility, the grant is transferred to the participant with highest points in the waiting list of the same group. In case of equal points, the one with the higher course credits will be prioritized.

All participants are obligated to send an e-mail notification to the international office in case of a cancellation.

In case an additional budget is granted to our institution by the Turkish National Agency, the participants in the waiting list (who have been submitted their confirmation of participation) may receive Erasmus grant according to their Erasmus traineeship points depending on the amount of additional budget. There is no exact date for this kind of change since the probability of such a case is uncertain.
